I was very impressed with the service and atmosphere at Vaca & Kirby Dental. Their offices were beautiful and clean, and their staff was very friendly and helpful. I visited them for a new patient exam and cleaning, and I have to say it’s the first time I have ever left my dentist feeling like I had a complete understanding of the health and structure of my smile. The hygienist was extremely friendly and walked me through every x-ray and my dental history, and Dr. Kirby was very courteous and answered all of my questions. This practice is the best dental office I have ever been to. I actually live in New York City, but plan my trips back home to visit Chris Kirby and his amazing staff for my dental needs. I’m one of those few people who enjoy the dentist, but I can say that anyone needing wonderful, thorough, comprehensive dental care….THESE ARE YOUR GUYS AND GALS! The hygienists are absolutely wonderful and very good at their craft. The front desk staff are so helpful, courteous and make you feel like you are at home! NO ONE is more afraid of the dentist or a needle than me, but I can tell you from first-hand experience, Dr. Kirby is the best!! I was in need of several procedures and insisted on being sedated for all of the work. Dr. Kirby put my fears to rest by setting up a person to come in and sedate me for the lengthy procedures. The last two visits, I even allowed him to put a needle in my gums….it’s a miracle. A caring attitude and patience from each staff member is so welcoming, and I look forward to each visit no longer in fear of the dentist. After a home sleep study, my doctor ordered a CPAP for me. I could not tolerate it and took the CPAP back to supplier. My ENT doctor recommended SLEEPwell. I was fitted for an appliance and wore it for a month. No problems with sleeping with the device. My wife said that instead of snoring and making the windows rattle, now, if I did snore, it was very light. Today SLEEPwell made a small adjustment to eliminate snoring completely. After 10 years sleeping in the spare bedroom, time to move back into the master bedroom. Yeah!– Terry S.

I loved the way Dr. Kirby and staff (especially Laci) make you feel like part of a family. Very caring, and kind. Made me feel extremely cared for and valued as a human life. Both went above and beyond by helping me after office hours. About 5 years ago I was diagnosed with MS. After additional tests, my diagnosis was changed to Transverse Myelitis, a rare and complicated disease in the MS family. I have managed to fight back from paralysis on the left side of my body by turning to a more natural lifestyle. During the extensive testing I underwent, it was discovered that I had Sleep Apnea. I received a prescription for a C-PAP Machine that I wore at night. I was already miserable from fighting TM and this just added to my misery. I quit using the C-PAP machine but my wife told me that I was actually stopping breathing and gasping while I slept. (And my wife did not!) We heard the advertisement for SLEEPwell Longview and my wife called for an appointment. After receiving my device, I began using it and saw results immediately. With Transverse Myelitis I am very in tune with my body and health. I now wake up feeling refreshed and rested thanks to my device. It has helped me in my battle against this disease, TM. Deeper and better sleep has removed much stress from my internal organs and throughout my body. I cannot stress enough how this simple, easy appliance affected my over all health. The people in this office are some of the most genuine and nicest people you could ever meet. When I found out about their support of our veterans, it made me love them even more.– Ron T.

I have suffered from sleep apnea for 10 years. During that time, I struggled with the discomfort of doing CPAP therapy. My primary issue was remaining compliant with using it every night. The noise, maintenance, and maintaining a good seal while wearing the mask brought me to a point where I stopped using the device altogether. I was on Facebook one day and came across the ad promoting SLEEPwell Longview. I did some research and read a number of reviews about the use of dental appliances for the treatment of sleep apnea. I made an appointment with SLEEPwell Longview and was very impressed with Dr. Vaca and his staff. Laci did an outstanding job explaining the pros and cons of using a dental appliance for treatment. I was able to make an informed decision which lead me to proceed with this life changing way of resolving my sleep apnea. From explaining how to do the in home sleep study to making a mold for my device, Laci did an outstanding job ensuring all of my questions and concerns were addressed. As I write this review, I am now sleeping without snoring and gasping for air. The ease of care and use of this device has enable me to remain 100% compliant in use. If you suffer from sleep apnea, I highly recommend you at least schedule an evaluation to see for yourself the benefits of this viable option for treatment.– Anthony D.

It’s hard to put it into words but when its in your nature not to really prioritize something until something is wrong with it and causing you pain, learning how to reframe how you prioritize something as simple as your teeth is as priceless as it is valuable.
